Morris A. Robinson, Sr., 61, a longtime resident of Fountain, Colorado departed this world on December 26, 2007at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is survived by his wife Nora J. Robinson of Fountain, CO; his children, Joel Robinson of Albuquerque, NM, Danielle (Glenn) Lints of Sanford, FL, and Morris A. Robinson, Jr. of Fountain,CO; six grandchildren, Marquis, Xaneria, Breanna, Devin, Damon and Garrett; four sisters, Henrietta (Rupert) White of Guam, Patria Robinson Martin of Olympia, WA, Carmen (Leroy) Josey of Portsmouth, OH, and Delicia Robinson of St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands; two brothers, Francisco Potter of Curacao and Lorenzo (Debra)Robinson of Radcliff, KY; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Robinson; father, Henry Robinson; two brothers, Max Robinson and Federico Robinson; and his sister, Ruth Simmons.

Morris was a beloved father, husband, grandfather and brother. He was a retiree of the US Army serving in Vietnam, Korea and Germany. He spent his relaxing time fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and his friends at the VFW. He will be sadly missed by all.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 from 4-7PM at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. Hwy 85/87, Fountain. Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at Dove-Witt Fountain Valley Chapel, 6630 S. Hwy 85/87, Fountain. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Avenue, Colorado Springs.
