Laverne Eleanor Fedors, age 84, of John Teague Road, Franklin, NC, passed away Monday, February 4, 2008 in a local hospital. She was a native of Cook County, IL, the daughter of the late George Heidenreich and Eleanor Chvatal Heidenreich. She was married to the late William Fedors. She was a LPN, and a Beautician. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, and was Leader of the Prayer Group.

She is survived by three daughters, Margaret "Peggy" Carmin of Franklin, NC, Barbara Kruger and her husband Gary of Delavan, WI and Janet Welch and her husband Ron of Danbury, NE; one son, John Schneider and his wife Irene of Hamilton, Ontario Canada; two sisters, Georgia Stewman of Bullingbrooke, IL and Lily Rogan of Indiana; one brother, Jim Heidenrich of Eugene, Oregon; fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 8th at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home, with Rev. Duane Maracle officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00pm, one hour prior to the service at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
