Augusta—Mr. Robert Tiller Hallford, 83, beloved husband of Mrs. Ruby Wilcox Hallford, entered into rest on Monday, August 25, 2008, at University Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 28, 2008, at Elliott Sons Funeral Home – Lumpkin Road, with Rev. Jim Dutton officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers will be Timothy Hallford, Terry Crowe, Johnny Boynton, Michael Hannon, Tyler Hannon, Glenn Ray. Military honors will be accorded by the Ceremonial Detachment of Fort Gordon.

Mr. Hallford, a retired Veteran, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was also retired from Kimberly Clark.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters and sons-in-laws Susan and Terry Crowe, Martinez,GA, Doris and Michael Hannon, Great Falls, VA; sons and daughter-in-law Terry Hallford, David Scott Hallford, Karen Lott all of Augusta, GA; sister Maggie Mae Starling, Homerville, GA; eight grandchildren: Sara Elisabeth Jones, Laura Victoria Faircloth, Esther Teresa Deal, Timothy Trevor Lott Hallford, Jessica Brittany Hallford, Michael Beringer Hannon, Tyler Hannon and Charles David Hallford; great grandchildren: Dylan Newman, Gabriel Jones and Victoria Grace Faircloth; preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kara Elisabeth Hallford.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Wednesday evening at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta.
