Dad loved his family and our family get-togethers. He loved fishing and in younger years spent as much time as he could either out in the bay or on the banks of a local river. Dad was a very kind and loving husband, dad and grandpa. He always had kind words and a good laugh with everyone. He always welcomed new family members with open arms. Very special thanks to the caring staff at Allenmore Hospital, where he received exceptional care. Dad will be greatly missed. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, December 15 at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup, with burial to follow at the Sumner City Cemetery.
