Funeral services for Hope Violet Fimiani, age 2, of Highland Heights, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, at Holy Redeemer Church, 15712 Kipling Ave., Collinwood. Hope died Oct. 13, 2008, at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland. Born Aug. 28, 2006, in Mayfield Heights, Hope had fought a courageous battle with Leukemia for six months. Survivors are her parents, Dyana M. (nee Filakosky) and Anthony D. Fimiani; sister, Juliana Marie Fimiani; maternal grandparents, Anna (nee Lucido) and Edward Filakosky; and fraternal grandmother, Violet (nee Petti) Fimiani. She was preceded in death by her fraternal grandfather, Dominic Fimiani. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Schulte & Mahon-Murphy Funeral Home, 5252 Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst. The Rev. Marty Polito will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland. The family has asked that all friends and family wear pink during services in memory of Hope.
