Debbie K. Schmidt, 48, died on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at her home.

Debbie was born on September 12, 1960 in Petoskey, the daughter of Joe and Kay (Freel) White. Debbie was wed to Carl Schmidt on April 28, 1984 near Indian River and became the loving mother to two beautiful daughters, Allison Mae and Kimberly Ann.


Debbie is survived by her husband, Carl Schmidt; daughters, Allison and Kimberly Schmidt; father, Joe White; mother-in-law, Martha Schmidt; sister, Ronda Nyberg; and siblings-in-law, Mary (Bill) Bertagnoli, Cathy (Gerry) Ilaria, and Joe (April) Schmidt; and special friends, Theresa Plachta and Andrea Munns. She is preceded in death by her mother, Kay White; uncle, Ronald Freel; grandfather, Earl Freel; and grandmother, Gladys Freel.


Arrangements have been entrusted to Covell Funeral Home in Kingsley.
