Biographie
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, in Multnomah Presbyterian Church for RubyLee Schneider of Portland, who died Sept. 5 at age 81.
RubyLee Griffin was born Jan. 23, 1927, in Lewistown, Mont. She moved to Oregon as a child and graduated from Franklin High School. She graduated from the University of Wyoming and lived overseas for a short time before returning to Oregon in 1953. She was a homemaker and a writer of historical and romance novels and religious tracts. In 1952, she married William C. Schneider; they divorced.
Survivors include her daughter, Anita Lynn Gilbert; sons, Donald Alan and Karl Dale; and four grandchildren.
