Biography

Walter Booker England, III, 68, of Stuart, FL, died Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart.

Born in Huntsville, AL, he was a resident of Stuart for 24 years, moving from Nashville, TN.

He was a graduate of Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN, earning his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

He was employed as City Engineer for the City of Port St. Lucie for 23 years.

Walter was of the Protestant faith. He was a Past President of the Florida Engineer Society, a member of the Harbor Island Yacht Club on Old Hickory Lake in Nashville, TN and was an avid sailor and accomplished organist.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. W.B. England, II and Mary B. England.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Kay England of Stuart, FL; two sons, Barry Koehler (Ginger) of Port St. Lucie, FL, Brent Koehler (Beverly) of Stuart, FL; and three grandchildren, Luke, Jake and Zach.

Friends and relatives may call Thursday, June 18 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart.

A Funeral Service will be Friday, June 19 at 11:00 AM at Aycock Funeral Home, with Pastor Jim Brocious of Stuart Alliance Church officiating. Burial will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, Stuart.
