Our Story
Our story begins December 2004. I was a biology student home for Christmas break, and my sister had some friends over one night which included David. We all started playing board games and cards. I never realized that was the start of something special.
I enjoyed the company but school started back up again and that became my focus. I would come home a couple of weekends over the next month. While I was home my sister and her friends would invite me to go out to eat or watch a movie.
From the beginning David and I discovered we had a lot of similar interests and we were always laughing together. Our first date was dinner and a movie on February 15, 2005.
Our relationship has soared when times were great such as graduations or vacations and gathered strength during the hard times such as loved ones deaths.
David proposed on the first night of a romantic weekend at Hocking Hills, Ohio, on July 29, 2010. He cooked a great dinner and suggested we watch the sunset off the back deck of our log cabin. As the sun set, he dropped down on one knee and asked me to become his wife. I gladly accepted. We enjoyed the rest of the weekend.
I started planning our wedding for September 10, 2011.
