Biography
Guadalupe Rivera Estrada
After the gift of 10+ years of being a heart transplant recipient, Guadalupe “Lupe” Rivera Estrada passed away on June 9, 2007. His greatest accomplishments included being a loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. Lupe found his greatest happiness by placing his family first and always being around for his friends. Through his service with the United States Air force and membership in the Knights of Columbus, Lupe developed close friendships and touched many lives. Throughout his life, Lupe always knew the importance of friends and family; and despite the personal challenges he faced with his health, he always managed to put his needs aside and put the needs of others first. In addition to the great memories Lupe has left behind with each of us, let us remember the greatest gift he received 10 years ago, a new heart, which allowed him more time with us.
