Message by Your loving auntie and uncle - November 18, 2009
I want to send you this poem, we love you Catherine!
Like an angel touches the earth for the last time
She left us without saying goodbye
She always smiling
She has a pure heart
She is always so caring
Intelligent, hard working and smart!
Her life on earth might be short
But not the memories she left us
The joys she brought to our families
Will be remembered with all of our hearts
We stop asking why her departure was so early
Since we know that she is now in a better place
Rest in peace our beloved Catherine!
Your kindness, tender care and love will be forever missed.
With much love,
from Auntie Lan and Uncle Truong in US

Yesterday we said hello
but today I cry because of sorrow
but the worst reason for why I cry
is tht I never got to say goodbye
your memory will last
but your death will stay in the past
just a sad and painfully memory
that will last
I wish I could turn back time
so that I could Hold your hand in mine
and say everything will be just fine
just close your eyes
and think of good things
let go of pain and spread your wings
and fly to a place
where you will live forever
Catherine, I miss you!
Rest in Peace

Dear Minh and Huong,
I wish I could be in Toronto this week with both of you and your family. Your family must be proud of Catherine, whom I have known as a little kid.
I'd like to quote an excerpt from an article written by a friend, Dr. Roger C. Bone in 1996 shortly before he passed away:
"1. Good health is often taken for granted; however, it is the most precious commodity one possesses.
2. One's spouse, children, family, and friends are the essential ingredients that allow one to endure an experience such as a serious and unexpected illness.
3. When faced with death, one realizes the importance of God and one's relationship to God.
4. The things one does throughout one's life that seem so urgent are, most of the time, not so important.
These observations have become a way of life for me....
Roger C. Bone, MD"
