Biography

Thomas Eugene Heath Jr., 43, passed away June 11, 2009 after a motorcycle accident near Grand Junction, Colorado. He was born on December 26, 1965 in Orlando, Florida and moved to Colorado Springs at the age of 6 months. He graduated from Widefield High School in 1984 and received an Associates Degree from PPCC.

Tom started his career in law enforcement in Houston, Texas for 4 years prior to becoming an officer with the CSPD where he has worked for the last 14 years. He was very instrumental in helping “at risk teens.”

Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, BBQs, NASCAR and the Denver Broncos. Tom loved his family and friends and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Pamela; a son Clayton 16; a daughter Alicia 12; his mother Sharon Russo; his father Tomas Eugene Heath and his wife Jan; a sister Tamie Sue and her husband Daniel Robb, along with their children Zachary and Casey, many aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many special people whose lives be touched.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday, June 18th, at Swan-Law Funeral Directors. A funeral service will be at 10:00 am, Friday, June 19th, at First United Methodist Church, 420 N. Nevada Ave., Colorado Springs with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
