Peggie H. Castruita, age 64, of Sun City, Texas, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2010. She was born on October 8, 1945 in Alton, Illinois to Harley Sparks and Virginia Douglas Sparks.

She is survived by her husband, Grabiel Castruita; her children, Matt and Tracy Castelli both of Alton, Illinois; son, Sean Castruita and his wife Leigh Neal Castruita; daughter, Michelle Hernandez and son-in-law Fred Hernandez of Pflugerville, Texas; daughter, Andrea Castruita of Georgetown, Texas; three grandchildren, Ava Castruita, Jacob Neal, and Adam Neal; brothers, Reggie and Douglas Sparks; and sisters-in-law, Gayle and Donna Sparks.

Peggie spent many years working as a patient consultant for Simmons Cooper Law Firm, working with cancer patients who were suffering from Mesothelioma.

She loved spending time with family and friends. She loved the outdoors, music and dancing. She had a compassionate heart and she never met a stranger. Peggie loved her life and always had a smile on her face, even in her final days.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday February 8, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Helen's Catholic Church in Georgetown, Texas with Monsignor Louis Pavlicek officiating.

There will also be a Memorial Service in Alton, Illinois on Thursday, February 11, 2010 from 4:00 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church for family and close friends. A celebration of life, will immediately follow the service from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Castelli's Restaurant at 255.
